As you know, in 03.02.00 Build 1 we added UEFI support. Build 2 improves on our GPT support and adds some debugging capabilities. We’ve also updated our communications libraries with the newest and most secure builds, and we’ve added support for the recently released Ubuntu 17.10, code name Artful Aardvark. Remember, RecoverEDGE in 03.02.00 supports UEFI in modern Linux distributions.

New Lower Pricing / Requirements on P2V Procedures

We’ve lowered the price on P2V (Physical to Virtual) Conversions for OpenServer 5.0.7, OpenServer 6 and UnixWare 7.1.4.

• The P2V fee has been reduced to $1,250 (or $1,500 if performed during non-Microlite business hours) from $1,500 (or $2,000 if performed during non-Microlite business hours).
• The BackupEDGE Support and Maintenance Subscription requirement is reduced to 2 years from 5 years.
• The Site Survey and report fee remains the same.

Lone-Tar Users – Special Offer – Limited Time

We have been asked by a number of our clients and partners to do something for Lone-Tar users since competitive upgrades were discontinued last December. So we’re going to make a one-time special offer. This offer will end on Friday, December 29, 2017 (the last business day of 2017) and will never be repeated.

All BE3REL (standard retail license) activations sent in by noon on December 29, 2017 and accompanied by proof-of-purchase for a Lone-Tar license purchased since January 1, 2010, will receive a two-year Support and Maintenance Subscription instead of one-year at no additional charge.
