Problem Description

|
My BackupEDGE bit level verification failed with an error 13.
|
|
Cause
|
|
Usually this points to some corruption on the hard disk. However, under
BackupEDGE 01.02.0x having a blank line in
/etc/edge.exclude will cause BackupEDGE to archive only
two files (even during a MASTER Backup) and fail verification with an error 13.

Solution
|
|
Edit the file /etc/edge.exclude and omit any blank lines from within
the file.
