Problem Description

|
I have a system running BackupEDGE version 01.02.0x.
When we run edgemenu, a message states that "No Primary Backup Resource Selected". We then go in and select the primary resource and save it.
However, the next time you go back into edgemenu, it reports the same message.

Cause
|
|
Check for the existence of the file /usr/bin/edge.uci. It may have been erased from the system or its symbolic link broken.
|
|
Solution
|
|
If the link has been lost, type the following command at the root prompt:
ln -s /usr/bin/edge.uci /usr/lib/edge/bin/edge.uci
|

Notes
|
|
You may also check to make sure the system name hasn't been changed.
|
