Problem Description
Is it possible to create CDROM images on a server with no cd recorder so that they may be moved to a machine with a CDROM burner?
Cause
My server has a cd rom and can boot to it, but it isn't a recorder.
Solution
For Linux, define the cd rom in the resource manager.

However, being that this drive is not recordable, define it as such.

In the record command type:

cat > /dev/null.

Set the record buffer to 1000.

Then run RecoverEDGE, select Configure->Boot Media.

Select the cdrom device and you will notice the device node gets filled in automatically.

Back out, then select Make Disks. Your image will be found in /usr/lib/edge/recover2/cdrom.img.
