Problem Description
|
|
When initializing the Network with 2 Network cards installed, RecoverEDGE fails with the message:
Cannot open..../dev/net1
Then the message "Network Support Initialized".
However, our URL resource is attached to /dev/net1 and we cannot access it.

Cause
|
|
Although RecoverEDGE detected the second nic and didn't include it. This problem will be addressed in a later release of BackupEDGE.
|
|
Solution
|
|
To remedy this problem edit the file NETFILES found in /usr/lib/edge/recover2.
Add an entry for /dev/net1 and save the change. You must then recreate and test your RecoverEDGE media.
