Problem Description

When booted to RecoverEDGE, the tape drive resource 'tape0' is not recognized.
|
|
Cause
|
|
This has been brought to the attention of our development staff.
|
|
Solution
|
|
To remedy this problem during a boot recovery or during testing of your RecoverEDGE media, change the resource 'tape0' to the actual device node for the tape device. This is usually /dev/rmt/ctape0.

|
This sometimes applies to DVD resources as well, the solution is the same.
